तथापि वाच्यः पुत्रो मे यद्ब्रवीम्यतिदुःखिता ।
लंघनामीदृशीं प्राप्तां विलोक्यतां महीपतेः ॥२२॥

22. tathāpi vācyaḥ putro me yadbravīmyatiduḥkhitā .

Nevertheless, my son must be told what I, being extremely distressed, am saying: 'Let this kind of humiliation (laṅghanā) that the king (mahīpati) has suffered be carefully considered!'
