दुःखाय सन्ततिः सत्यमैहिकामुष्मिकाय तत् ।
तथाप्यतनयान्यान्ति ऋणानीति श्रुतं मया ॥३८॥

38. duḥkhāya santatiḥ satyamaihikāmuṣmikāya tat .
tathāpyatanayānyānti ṛṇānīti śrutaṃ mayā.

It is true that progeny can bring suffering, both in this life and the next. Yet, I have heard that those without children incur debts.
