यतो रक्षणपोषार्थमपत्यानां करोमि तत् ।
चिन्तयामि च सम्भूतिस्तेन मे नरके ध्रुवम् ॥३६॥

Because I undertake that (action) for the protection and nourishment of my offspring, and I worry about their welfare, therefore my (descent) to hell (naraka) is certain.
