मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-117, verse-16

मृग उवाच ।
बहवो मे सुता भूप बह्व्यो दुहितरस्तथा ।
यच्चिन्तादुःखदावाग्निज्वालामध्ये वसाम्यहम् ॥१६॥
16. mṛga uvāca .
bahavo me sutā bhūpa bahvyo duhitarastathā .
yaccintāduḥkhadāvāgnijvālāmadhye vasāmyaham.
16. mṛgaḥ uvāca bahavaḥ me sutā bhūpa bahvyaḥ duhitarḥ
tathā yat cintāduḥkhadāvāgnijvālāmadhye vasāmi aham
16. The deer said: 'O King, I have many sons and many daughters as well. I dwell in the midst of the blazing forest fire of sorrow caused by anxiety for them.'
