महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-54, verse-14

ततो भीमो महाकोटिं गदां गृह्याथ वर्मभृत् ।
बिभ्रद्रूपं महाराज सदृशं हि गरुत्मतः ॥१४॥
14. tato bhīmo mahākoṭiṁ gadāṁ gṛhyātha varmabhṛt ,
bibhradrūpaṁ mahārāja sadṛśaṁ hi garutmataḥ.
14. tataḥ bhīmaḥ mahākoṭim gadām gṛhya atha varmabhṛt
bibhrat rūpam mahārāja sadṛśam hi garutmataḥ

14. Then Bhīma, having taken up a mace with a great point and wearing his armor, assumed a form, O great king, that was indeed similar to that of Garuḍa.
