ततो मुहूर्तं स ध्यात्वा देवानां श्रेयसि स्थितः ।
सेनापत्यं ददौ तस्मै सर्वभूतेषु भारत ॥४८॥

48. tato muhūrtaṁ sa dhyātvā devānāṁ śreyasi sthitaḥ ,
senāpatyaṁ dadau tasmai sarvabhūteṣu bhārata.

48. O Bhārata, having reflected for a moment with the welfare of the gods in mind, he bestowed upon him the command of the army among all beings.
