महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-8, verse-15

ते च शोणा बृहन्तोऽश्वाः सैन्धवा हेममालिनः ।
रथे वातजवा युक्ताः सर्वशब्दातिगा रणे ॥१५॥
15. te ca śoṇā bṛhanto'śvāḥ saindhavā hemamālinaḥ ,
rathe vātajavā yuktāḥ sarvaśabdātigā raṇe.

15. And those large, red, Sindhu-born horses, adorned with golden garlands, swift as the wind, and unaffected by all sounds (in battle), are yoked in the chariot.
