महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-5, verse-6

तेनातियशसा कर्ण घ्नता शत्रुगणान्मम ।
सुयुद्धेन दशाहानि पालिताः स्मो महात्मना ॥६॥
