cet sarvaharaḥ mṛtyuḥ sadā-apramattaḥ kirīṭinam samare tam abhirakṣet,

32.
Even if all-destroying Death (mṛtyu) were to protect Arjuna (kirīṭinam), who is ever vigilant in battle, still I would slay him upon encountering him in combat. Otherwise, I myself shall go to Yama by the path of Bhīṣma.
