महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-81, verse-29

ततः समुत्सृज्य धनुः सबाणं युधिष्ठिरं वीक्ष्य भयाभिभूतम् ।
गदां प्रगृह्याभिपपात संख्ये जयद्रथं भीमसेनः पदातिः ॥२९॥
29. tataḥ samutsṛjya dhanuḥ sabāṇaṁ; yudhiṣṭhiraṁ vīkṣya bhayābhibhūtam ,
gadāṁ pragṛhyābhipapāta saṁkhye; jayadrathaṁ bhīmasenaḥ padātiḥ.

29. Then Bhīmasena, on foot, seeing Yudhiṣṭhira overwhelmed by fear, cast aside his bow and arrows, grasped his mace, and charged towards Jayadratha in battle.
