महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-81, verse-22

दृष्ट्वा हि भीष्मं तमनन्तवीर्यं भग्नं च सैन्यं द्रवमाणमेवम् ।
भीतोऽसि नूनं द्रुपदस्य पुत्र तथा हि ते मुखवर्णोऽप्रहृष्टः ॥२२॥
22. dṛṣṭvā hi bhīṣmaṁ tamanantavīryaṁ; bhagnaṁ ca sainyaṁ dravamāṇamevam ,
bhīto'si nūnaṁ drupadasya putra; tathā hi te mukhavarṇo'prahṛṣṭaḥ.

bhagnam ca sainyam dravamāṇam evam

22. Indeed, having seen that Bhishma, of boundless valor, and the army thus fleeing, you are surely afraid, O son of Drupada. For your facial color is indeed joyless.
