महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-81, verse-2

संछिद्य चापानि च तानि राज्ञां तेषां रणे वीर्यवतां क्षणेन ।
विव्याध बाणैर्युगपन्महात्मा निःशेषतां तेष्वथ मन्यमानः ॥२॥
2. saṁchidya cāpāni ca tāni rājñāṁ; teṣāṁ raṇe vīryavatāṁ kṣaṇena ,
vivyādha bāṇairyugapanmahātmā; niḥśeṣatāṁ teṣvatha manyamānaḥ.

2. The great-souled (Arjuna), having in a moment cut the bows of those valiant kings in battle, then, considering them completely subdued, simultaneously pierced them with arrows.
