महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-81, verse-11

आवारयिष्णूनभिसंप्रयाय मुहूर्तमायोध्य बलेन वीरः ।
उत्सृज्य राजानमनन्तवीर्यो जयद्रथादींश्च नृपान्महौजाः ।
ययौ ततो भीमबलो मनस्वी गाङ्गेयमाजौ शरचापपाणिः ॥११॥
11. āvārayiṣṇūnabhisaṁprayāya; muhūrtamāyodhya balena vīraḥ ,
utsṛjya rājānamanantavīryo; jayadrathādīṁśca nṛpānmahaujāḥ ,
yayau tato bhīmabalo manasvī; gāṅgeyamājau śaracāpapāṇiḥ.

balena vīraḥ utsṛjya rājānaṃ anantavīryaḥ
jayadrathādīn ca nṛpān mahaujāḥ yayau tataḥ

11. The hero (Arjuna), possessing infinite valor and mighty power, advanced against those who were obstructing him and fought them fiercely for a moment. Then, leaving behind Duryodhana and Jayadratha and the other kings, the resolute Arjuna, with his bow and arrows in hand, went forth to confront Bhīṣma (Gāṅgeya) in battle.
