महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-19, verse-29

पादातास्त्वग्रतोऽगच्छन्नसिशक्त्यृष्टिपाणयः ।
अनेकशतसाहस्रा भीमसेनस्य रक्षिणः ॥२९॥
29. pādātāstvagrato'gacchannasiśaktyṛṣṭipāṇayaḥ ,
anekaśatasāhasrā bhīmasenasya rakṣiṇaḥ.

29. Indeed, foot soldiers, armed with swords, spears (śakti), and lances in their hands, advanced at the front. There were many hundreds of thousands of them, serving as Bhimasena's protectors.
