महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-105, verse-27

अद्य ते पुरुषव्याघ्र प्रतिमोक्ष्ये ऋणं महत् ।
भर्तृपिण्डकृतं राजन्निहतः पृतनामुखे ॥२७॥
27. adya te puruṣavyāghra pratimokṣye ṛṇaṁ mahat ,
bhartṛpiṇḍakṛtaṁ rājannihataḥ pṛtanāmukhe.

27. O king, O tiger among men, today I shall repay my great debt to you—the debt incurred by accepting your sustenance (bhartṛpiṇḍakṛtam)—even if I am slain at the forefront of the army.
