महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-7, verse-28

इत्येवमुक्तः स तदा परिष्वज्य हलायुधम् ।
कृष्णं चापहृतं ज्ञात्वा युद्धान्मेने जितं जयम् ॥२८॥
28. ityevamuktaḥ sa tadā pariṣvajya halāyudham ,
kṛṣṇaṁ cāpahṛtaṁ jñātvā yuddhānmene jitaṁ jayam.
28. iti evam uktaḥ sa tadā pariṣvajya halāyudham
kṛṣṇam ca apahṛtam jñātvā yuddhāt mene jitam jayam
28. Having been addressed in this manner, he then embraced Halāyudha (Balarāma). And knowing that Kṛṣṇa had been taken away (from their side), he considered the battle's victory to be already secured.
