महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-7, verse-20

सहस्राणां सहस्रं तु योधानां प्राप्य भारत ।
कृष्णं चापहृतं ज्ञात्वा संप्राप परमां मुदम् ॥२०॥
20. sahasrāṇāṁ sahasraṁ tu yodhānāṁ prāpya bhārata ,
kṛṣṇaṁ cāpahṛtaṁ jñātvā saṁprāpa paramāṁ mudam.
20. sahasrāṇām sahasram tu yodhānām prāpya bhārata
kṛṣṇam ca apahṛtam jñātvā saṃprāpa paramām mudam
20. But, O Bhārata, having acquired a thousand times a thousand warriors, and realizing that Kṛṣṇa had been taken (as a non-combatant), he attained supreme joy.
