महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-7, verse-19

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवमुक्तस्तु कृष्णेन कुन्तीपुत्रो धनंजयः ।
अयुध्यमानं संग्रामे वरयामास केशवम् ॥१९॥
19. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evamuktastu kṛṣṇena kuntīputro dhanaṁjayaḥ ,
ayudhyamānaṁ saṁgrāme varayāmāsa keśavam.

dhanaṃjayaḥ ayudhyamānam saṃgrāme varayāmāsa keśavam
19. Vaiśampāyana said: However, having been addressed thus by Kṛṣṇa, Dhanañjaya, the son of Kuntī, chose Keśava, who would remain a non-combatant in the conflict.
