महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-7, verse-13

कृष्ण उवाच ।
भवानभिगतः पूर्वमत्र मे नास्ति संशयः ।
दृष्टस्तु प्रथमं राजन्मया पार्थो धनंजयः ॥१३॥
13. kṛṣṇa uvāca ,
bhavānabhigataḥ pūrvamatra me nāsti saṁśayaḥ ,
dṛṣṭastu prathamaṁ rājanmayā pārtho dhanaṁjayaḥ.
13. kṛṣṇaḥ uvāca bhavān abhigataḥ pūrvam atra me na asti
saṃśayaḥ dṛṣṭaḥ tu prathamam rājan mayā pārthaḥ dhanañjayaḥ
13. Krishna said: "There is no doubt in my mind that you approached me first. However, O King, Arjuna Dhananjaya was seen by me first."
