महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-7, verse-16

मत्संहननतुल्यानां गोपानामर्बुदं महत् ।
नारायणा इति ख्याताः सर्वे संग्रामयोधिनः ॥१६॥
16. matsaṁhananatulyānāṁ gopānāmarbudaṁ mahat ,
nārāyaṇā iti khyātāḥ sarve saṁgrāmayodhinaḥ.

nārāyaṇāḥ iti khyātāḥ sarve saṃgrāmayodhinaḥ
16. There is a great multitude (arbuda) of cowherds, equal to my own strength, renowned as Nārayaṇas, all of whom are warriors in battle.
