महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-181, verse-24

ततो हाहाकृतं सर्वं रामे भूतलमाश्रिते ।
जगद्भारत संविग्नं यथार्कपतनेऽभवत् ॥२४॥

24. tato hāhākṛtaṁ sarvaṁ rāme bhūtalamāśrite ,
jagadbhārata saṁvignaṁ yathārkapatane'bhavat.

24. Then, O Bharata, when Rama collapsed onto the ground, the entire world was filled with cries of lamentation and became agitated, just as if the sun (arka) itself had fallen.
