अस्त्रैरेव महाबाहो चिकीर्षन्नधिकां क्रियाम् ।
ततो दिवि महान्नादः प्रादुरासीत्समन्ततः ॥१०॥

10. O mighty-armed one, as he (Parashurama) sought to accomplish a greater feat using only his weapons, a great sound then arose from all sides in the sky.
