महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-164, verse-26

रथ एष महाराज मतो मम नरर्षभः ।
त्वदर्थे त्यक्ष्यति प्राणान्सह सैन्यो महारणे ॥२६॥
26. ratha eṣa mahārāja mato mama nararṣabhaḥ ,
tvadarthe tyakṣyati prāṇānsaha sainyo mahāraṇe.

tvadarthe tyakṣyati prāṇān sahasainyaḥ mahāraṇe
26. mahārāja nararṣabha eṣa rathaḥ mama mataḥ saḥ

26. O great king, O best among men, this one is considered by me to be a (capable) chariot-warrior. For your sake, he will give up his life along with his soldiers in the great battle.
