महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-155, verse-6

शार्ङ्गं तु वैष्णवं प्राहुर्दिव्यं तेजोमयं धनुः ।
धारयामास यत्कृष्णः परसेनाभयावहम् ॥६॥
6. śārṅgaṁ tu vaiṣṇavaṁ prāhurdivyaṁ tejomayaṁ dhanuḥ ,
dhārayāmāsa yatkṛṣṇaḥ parasenābhayāvaham.
6. śārṅgam tu vaiṣṇavam prāhuḥ divyam tejo-mayam dhanuḥ
dhārayāmāsa yat kṛṣṇaḥ para-senā-bhaya-āvaham
6. kṛṣṇaḥ yat para-senā-bhaya-āvaham divyam tejo-mayam
vaiṣṇavam dhanuḥ śārṅgam dhārayāmāsa tu prāhuḥ
6. They indeed call the Śārṅga (bow) divine and full of splendor, belonging to Vishnu. Krishna wielded that bow, which struck fear into enemy armies.
