महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-28, verse-6

सुखोचितमदुःखार्हं दुरात्मा ससुहृद्गणः ।
ईदृशं दुःखमानीय मोदते पापपूरुषः ॥६॥
6. sukhocitamaduḥkhārhaṁ durātmā sasuhṛdgaṇaḥ ,
īdṛśaṁ duḥkhamānīya modate pāpapūruṣaḥ.
6. sukocitam aduḥkārham durātmā sa-suhṛdgaṇaḥ
īdṛśam duḥkham ānīya modate pāpapūruṣaḥ
6. That evil-souled (durātman) wicked man, along with his host of friends, rejoices after inflicting such suffering (duḥkha) upon one like you, who are accustomed to comfort and undeserving of distress.
