महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-28, verse-13

या त्वाहं चन्दनादिग्धमपश्यं सूर्यवर्चसम् ।
सा त्वा पङ्कमलादिग्धं दृष्ट्वा मुह्यामि भारत ॥१३॥
13. yā tvāhaṁ candanādigdhamapaśyaṁ sūryavarcasam ,
sā tvā paṅkamalādigdhaṁ dṛṣṭvā muhyāmi bhārata.
13. yā tvām aham candanādigdham apaśyam sūryavarcasam
sā tvām paṅkamalādigdham dṛṣṭvā muhyāmi bhārata
13. O Bhārata, I, who once saw you radiant as the sun and smeared with sandalwood paste, am now bewildered (muhyāmi) to see you covered in mud and dirt.
