महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-277, verse-8

अपत्योत्पादनार्थं स तीव्रं नियममास्थितः ।
काले परिमिताहारो ब्रह्मचारी जितेन्द्रियः ॥८॥
8. apatyotpādanārthaṁ sa tīvraṁ niyamamāsthitaḥ ,
kāle parimitāhāro brahmacārī jitendriyaḥ.
