महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-277, verse-26

तां सुमध्यां पृथुश्रोणीं प्रतिमां काञ्चनीमिव ।
प्राप्तेयं देवकन्येति दृष्ट्वा संमेनिरे जनाः ॥२६॥
26. tāṁ sumadhyāṁ pṛthuśroṇīṁ pratimāṁ kāñcanīmiva ,
prāpteyaṁ devakanyeti dṛṣṭvā saṁmenire janāḥ.
26. tām sumadhyām pṛthuśroṇīm pratimām kāñcanīm iva
prāptā iyam devakanyā iti dṛṣṭvā sammenire janāḥ
26. Seeing her, who was slender-waisted and broad-hipped, like a golden statue, people thought, "This divine maiden (devakanyā) has arrived."
