महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-110, verse-32

ता राजभयभीताश्च शापभीताश्च योषितः ।
अशक्यमूचुस्तत्कार्यं विवर्णा गतचेतसः ॥३२॥
32. tā rājabhayabhītāśca śāpabhītāśca yoṣitaḥ ,
aśakyamūcustatkāryaṁ vivarṇā gatacetasaḥ.
32. tāḥ rājabhayabhītāḥ ca śāpabhītāḥ ca yoṣitaḥ
aśakyam ūcuḥ tat kāryam vivarṇāḥ gatacetasaḥ
32. Those women, afraid of the king's wrath and also of a curse, became pale and disheartened, and declared that task impossible.
