महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-62, verse-23

दृष्ट्वा तु तान्पार्थिवपुत्रपौत्रांस्तूष्णींभूतान्धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्रः ।
स्मयन्निवेदं वचनं बभाषे पाञ्चालराजस्य सुतां तदानीम् ॥२३॥
23. dṛṣṭvā tu tānpārthivaputrapautrāṁ;stūṣṇīṁbhūtāndhṛtarāṣṭrasya putraḥ ,
smayannivedaṁ vacanaṁ babhāṣe; pāñcālarājasya sutāṁ tadānīm.

putraḥ smayan iva idam vacanam
babhāṣe pāñcālarājasya sutām tadānīm
23. Having seen those princes and grandsons of kings who had become silent, Dhritarashtra's son (Duryodhana), as if smiling, then spoke these words to the daughter of the Pañcāla king (Draupadī).
