महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-62, verse-18

कुलेषु जाताः कल्याणि व्यसनाभ्याहता भृशम् ।
धर्म्यान्मार्गान्न च्यवन्ते यथा नस्त्वं वधूः स्थिता ॥१८॥
18. kuleṣu jātāḥ kalyāṇi vyasanābhyāhatā bhṛśam ,
dharmyānmārgānna cyavante yathā nastvaṁ vadhūḥ sthitā.
18. kuleṣu jātāḥ kalyāṇi vyasana-abhyāhatāḥ bhṛśam |
dharmyān mārgān na cyavante yathā naḥ tvam vadhūḥ sthitā
18. O auspicious one, those born in (noble) families, even when greatly afflicted by misfortune, do not deviate from the path of righteousness (dharma), just as you, our daughter-in-law, remain firm.
