महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-62, verse-13

जितां वाप्यजितां वापि मन्यध्वं वा यथा नृपाः ।
तथा प्रत्युक्तमिच्छामि तत्करिष्यामि कौरवाः ॥१३॥
13. jitāṁ vāpyajitāṁ vāpi manyadhvaṁ vā yathā nṛpāḥ ,
tathā pratyuktamicchāmi tatkariṣyāmi kauravāḥ.
13. jitām vā api ajitām vā api manyadhvam vā yathā nṛpāḥ
tathā pratyuktam icchāmi tat kariṣyāmi kauravāḥ
13. O kings, whether you consider it a victory or a defeat, or whatever you deem it to be, I desire a reply. O Kauravas, I will then act accordingly.
