महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-38, verse-32

अथास्य भक्ष्यमाजह्रुः समुद्रजलचारिणः ।
अण्डजा भीष्म तस्यान्ये धर्मार्थमिति शुश्रुम ॥३२॥
32. athāsya bhakṣyamājahruḥ samudrajalacāriṇaḥ ,
aṇḍajā bhīṣma tasyānye dharmārthamiti śuśruma.
32. atha asya bhakṣyam ājahruḥ samudrajalacāriṇaḥ
aṇḍajāḥ bhīṣma tasya anye dharmārtham iti śuśruma
32. Then, O Bhishma, other egg-born creatures, those dwelling in the ocean waters, brought him food. We heard that they did this for the sake of natural law (dharma).
