महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-38, verse-24

न हि धर्मोऽस्ति ते भीष्म ब्रह्मचर्यमिदं वृथा ।
यद्धारयसि मोहाद्वा क्लीबत्वाद्वा न संशयः ॥२४॥
24. na hi dharmo'sti te bhīṣma brahmacaryamidaṁ vṛthā ,
yaddhārayasi mohādvā klībatvādvā na saṁśayaḥ.
24. na hi dharmaḥ asti te bhīṣma brahmacaryam idam vṛthā
yat dhārayasi mohāt vā klībatvāt vā na saṃśayaḥ
24. O Bhishma, there is indeed no (true) righteousness (dharma) in this celibacy (brahmacarya) of yours; it is futile. You uphold it either out of delusion or out of impotence; there is no doubt about this.
