महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-38, verse-22

यां त्वयापहृतां भीष्म कन्यां नैषितवान्नृपः ।
भ्राता विचित्रवीर्यस्ते सतां वृत्तमनुष्ठितः ॥२२॥
22. yāṁ tvayāpahṛtāṁ bhīṣma kanyāṁ naiṣitavānnṛpaḥ ,
bhrātā vicitravīryaste satāṁ vṛttamanuṣṭhitaḥ.
22. yām tvayā apahṛtām bhīṣma kanyām na iṣitavān nṛpaḥ
bhrātā vicitravīryaḥ te satām vṛttam anuṣṭhitaḥ
22. O Bhishma, your brother Vichitravirya, the king, did not accept the maiden whom you had abducted, thereby upholding the conduct of the virtuous.
