महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-38, verse-13

स्त्रीषु गोषु न शस्त्राणि पातयेद्ब्राह्मणेषु च ।
यस्य चान्नानि भुञ्जीत यश्च स्याच्छरणागतः ॥१३॥
13. strīṣu goṣu na śastrāṇi pātayedbrāhmaṇeṣu ca ,
yasya cānnāni bhuñjīta yaśca syāccharaṇāgataḥ.

yasya ca annāni bhuñjīta yaḥ ca syāt śaraṇāgataḥ
13. One should not use weapons against women, cows, or Brahmins. Likewise, one should not use them against someone whose food one has consumed, or against anyone who has taken refuge.
