भीष्म उवाच ।
यो व्रतं वै यथोद्दिष्टं तथा संप्रतिपद्यते ।
अखण्डं सम्यगारब्धं तस्य लोकाः सनातनाः ॥८॥

8. bhīṣma uvāca ,
yo vrataṁ vai yathoddiṣṭaṁ tathā saṁpratipadyate ,
akhaṇḍaṁ samyagārabdhaṁ tasya lokāḥ sanātanāḥ.

Bhishma said: He who indeed undertakes a vow (vrata) as instructed, and performs it completely and properly, for him are the eternal realms.
