युधिष्ठिर उवाच ।
विस्रम्भितोऽहं भवता धर्मान्प्रवदता विभो ।
प्रवक्ष्यामि तु संदेहं तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह ॥१॥

visrambhito'haṁ bhavatā dharmānpravadatā vibho ,
pravakṣyāmi tu saṁdehaṁ tanme brūhi pitāmaha.

1. Yudhiṣṭhira said: 'I am reassured by you, O mighty one, who speak of (dharma). However, I will present a doubt; please answer that for me, O grandfather.'
