महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-7, verse-9

ते वयं पृथिवीहेतोरवध्यान्पृथिवीसमान् ।
संपरित्यज्य जीवामो हीनार्था हतबान्धवाः ॥९॥
9. te vayaṁ pṛthivīhetoravadhyānpṛthivīsamān ,
saṁparityajya jīvāmo hīnārthā hatabāndhavāḥ.

9. For the sake of this earth, we, after completely abandoning those who are invulnerable (avadhyān) and who are as dear as the earth (pṛthivīsamān), now live, destitute and with our kinsmen slain.
