महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-7, verse-19

संयुक्ताः काममन्युभ्यां क्रोधहर्षासमञ्जसाः ।
न ते जन्मफलं किंचिद्भोक्तारो जातु कर्हिचित् ॥१९॥
19. saṁyuktāḥ kāmamanyubhyāṁ krodhaharṣāsamañjasāḥ ,
na te janmaphalaṁ kiṁcidbhoktāro jātu karhicit.

19. They, being connected with desire (kāma) and anger, and inconsistent in their expressions of wrath and joy, will never, at any time, enjoy any fruit (phala) of their birth.
