तथा तु निघ्नतस्तस्य सर्वसत्त्वानि भारत ।

8. O Bhārata, as he (Kṛṣṇa) was thus slaying all beings, his form, that of the Self (ātman) of all creatures, became exceedingly fierce at that time.
