योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-18, verse-5

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
प्राणस्याभ्यन्तरे चित्तं चित्तस्याभ्यन्तरे जगत् ।
विद्यते विविधाकारं बीजस्यान्तरिव द्रुमः ॥ ५ ॥
śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca ,
prāṇasyābhyantare cittaṃ cittasyābhyantare jagat ,
vidyate vividhākāraṃ bījasyāntariva drumaḥ 5
5. śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca prāṇasya abhyantare cittam cittasya
abhyantare jagat vidyate vividhākāram bījasya antare iva drumaḥ
5. śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca prāṇasya abhyantare cittam cittasya
abhyantare vividhākāram jagat vidyate iva bījasya antare drumaḥ
5. Sage Vasistha said: "Within the vital breath (prāṇa) is the mind (citta), and within the mind (citta) exists the world (jagat), manifesting in various forms, just as a tree is contained within a seed."
