योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-172, verse-37

दृष्टं मृगतृषेवाम्बु न तु तत्परमार्थतः ।
यदा त्वयं तदा स्वप्ने सर्गादौ चावभासते ॥ ३७ ॥

dṛṣṭaṃ mṛgatṛṣevāmbu na tu tatparamārthataḥ ,
yadā tvayaṃ tadā svapne sargādau cāvabhāsate 37

37. dṛṣṭam mṛga-tṛṣā iva ambu na tu tat parama-arthataḥ
yadā tu ayam tadā svapne sarga-ādau ca avabhāsate

37. ambu mṛga-tṛṣā iva dṛṣṭam,

37. The world is seen like water in a mirage, but it is not truly real (paramārthataḥ). When this (world) appears, it is like a dream or at the beginning of creation.
