योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-172, verse-23

सर्वात्मनि स्थिताः सत्ये याः कचन्ति सुसंविदः ।
ता एवाभ्यासरूढार्थाः सादृश्यात्स्मृतयः स्मृताः ॥ २३ ॥
sarvātmani sthitāḥ satye yāḥ kacanti susaṃvidaḥ ,
tā evābhyāsarūḍhārthāḥ sādṛśyātsmṛtayaḥ smṛtāḥ 23

23. Those profound cognitions (susaṃvidaḥ) which appear in the universal Self (ātman) as reality, and whose meanings are deeply ingrained through repeated practice (abhyāsa), are, by similarity, considered memories (smṛtayaḥ).
