योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-109, verse-5

तत्सुसाहसमेवेदं वर्जयित्वा प्रतिक्रिया ।
नान्यास्ति शीघ्रमेवातो रणोद्योगो विधीयताम् ॥ ५ ॥
tatsusāhasamevedaṃ varjayitvā pratikriyā ,
nānyāsti śīghramevāto raṇodyogo vidhīyatām 5
5. tat susāhasam eva idam varjayitvā pratikriyā na
anyā asti śīghram eva ataḥ raṇodyogaḥ vidhīyatām
5. tat idam susāhasam varjayitvā anyā pratikriyā
na asti ataḥ śīghram eva raṇodyogaḥ vidhīyatām
5. Therefore, since no other countermeasure exists apart from this extremely daring action, war preparations should be initiated immediately.
