पीत्वा धृत्वा चिरं कालं गर्भे पुरुषतापिताः ।
वेद्यामिव हितास्तत्र सागरा वडवार्चिषा ॥ ३७ ॥

vedyāmiva hitāstatra sāgarā vaḍavārciṣā 37

37. Having drunk (of knowledge or power) and retained (it) for a long time, and heated inwardly by (their) masculine strength (puruṣa), they were situated there, like oceans restrained by the submarine Vaḍavā fire on a sacrificial altar.
