The four figures, whose bodies were adorned with jewels, horses, and abundant flowers, radiated light with smiles like the moon. They emerged from the sacrificial fire where oblations had been offered, just like auspicious forms, or indeed like lions, or like oceans, or like the Vedas themselves.
