अर्थानर्थैः स राज्योत्थैर्न ग्लायति न हृष्यति ।
कुर्वन्नपि करोत्येष न किंचिदपि कुत्रचित् ।
स तिष्ठत्येव सततं सर्वदैवान्तरे चितः ॥ १२ ॥

12.
He (Janaka) neither becomes dejected nor rejoices because of the gains and losses arising from the kingdom. Even while acting, he does not do anything at all, anywhere. He always remains truly collected within himself.
