राज्यं कुर्वन्विदेहानां जनको जनजीवितम् ।
नैव हर्षविषादाभ्यां सोऽवशः परितप्यते ॥ १० ॥

10. Even while ruling the kingdom of the Videhas and being the very life of his people, Janaka is certainly not tormented by joy and sorrow; he remains unaffected by them.
