वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-7, verse-34

स तया गरुडं संख्ये ईशानमिव चान्तकः ।
ललाटदेशे ऽभ्यहनद्वज्रेणेन्द्रो यथाचलम् ॥३४॥
34. sa tayā garuḍaṃ saṃkhye īśānamiva cāntakaḥ ,
lalāṭadeśe'bhyahanadvajreṇendro yathācalam.
34. saḥ tayā garuḍam saṃkhye īśānam iva ca antakaḥ
lalāṭa-deśe abhyahanat vajreṇa indraḥ yathā acalam
34. With that (mace), Mālin struck Garuḍa in battle on the forehead region, just as Antaka (Yama) would strike Īśāna (Śiva), and as Indra would strike a mountain with his thunderbolt.
